The Bachelor of Arts Economics course offered by hundreds of universities in India is a three-year degree course that trains students about the elements of the subject. In some universities, they divide the course into 6 semesters that last 6 months each, however, there are many other universities that still maintain yearly terms.

However, there are other universities that charge much higher and it can in fact go up to Rs. 3 lakhs for the entire course at certain institutes.

Eligibility

Anyone who has cleared the class 12 examination with an aggregate at least 45% is eligible for studying BA Economics. However, it is also important that most universities conduct their own entrance examinations. Student would need to qualify through it.
